Humans for thousands of years have used selective breeding in their favor, from breeding cows that produce more milk to breeding dogs to just be lap dogs. This type of process is thought to have first been practiced in dogs around 9,000 years ago. Through selective breeding, new dog breeds had better hunting instincts, some were better guardians and some were simply more beautiful. In the last centuries, this man-made process was advanced and accelerated, this caused some breeds to be bred so much till the point they became ruined.
