The Top 10 Depression Fighting Dog Breeds

While we’d argue that any sweet and lovable dog will undoubtedly make you happier and less stressed, some breeds tend to be especially cheerful, affectionate, and optimistic.

If you’ve got a case of the blues, a canine companion may be just what the doctor ordered.

Think about it: dog owners spend more time outside, have increased LPD’s (laughs per day) due to their dog’s silly antics, and provide the most loyal friends in existence.

In this video, we have listed 10 particularly dopamine-inducing dog breeds that will bring sunshine to all your cloudy days.

Clicked so fast to see if any of my emotional support dog’s mix is on here… surprising to not see German Shepherd or any dogs from the husky/malamute family. Not surprised to know a PNW wolfdog isn’t mentioned.

My current dog is a Shepapoo and he is the most easy going, loyal, obedient, and patient dog I have ever had. Absolute gem around all 4 of my nieces and nephews that crawl and cuddle into his fluffy curls.

My Rottweiler is my service dog she helps me both with my PTSD and to get out more.

German Shepherds have proven themselves more than worthy as support dogs of all kinds over many years. I am a disabled veteran with PTSD. My new dog will be a Shepherd. No other dog can handle both the tasks of a support and service dog the way a Shepherd can. They also learn faster than other dogs. Please do no omit them.
