If you want a small, playful and cute dog get a miniature pinscher. They wont get along with your pets right away ofc needs some time. I have a min pin and he gets mad whenever my 1 y.o. cousin aproaches and when i come he starts hiding 🙂

You didn’t mention two dog breeds that we owned both living more than 17 years! My dog Rags was an Australian Cattle dog who lived to 21 years 10 months. Then there is a Australian Cattle Dog named Bluey lived from 1910 to 1939, giving it the Guinness World Record for longest canine life span. Then there is our other dog breed we had which were Shetland Sheep dogs. Shana lived to 17 years 7 months and her daughter Penny lived to 17 years 4 months. Sadie lived to 18 years 1 month and Cameo almost made it to twenty years.

We rescued a Greyhound (NGA) that lived to be 14 yrs 11months.
As memory serves, the oldest old to live was an Australian Cattle Dog that lived to be 27+ yrs.
Bottom line is to adopt first, a breed thay matches your personality and ignore this kind of video!

I had a toy poodle that lived until she 16 and half years old and a shih tzu that lived until she was 14 years old.
