SOCIALIZE a DOMINANT REACTIVE DOG IN PUBLIC pt 1

Max our young Akita is a very strong and dominant dog. I've been raining him for the last several months and we've been following his training along. Recently we thought to do some real-world training and brought Max and Joey to town to do some real-world socializing. All can be good in a sterile environment like a park, but we expect our dogs to be able to behave in public. So that's what we did. Within 5 minutes we ran into another very dominant dog that set the training up for some real excitement. #dogaggression #socilaizingdogs #dogtraining Visit us here…

Her reactivity to other dogs has kept him…

Aggressive German Shepherd Lunges at Dog and Tries to Bite Me

Aggressive German Shepherd X lunges at other dogs and tries to bite me during this training session. This lesson covers Red a German Shepherd mix who is reactive/aggressive on the leash to other dogs and then redirects to me. Red is a very high prey-driven dog and Will has had some issues with this drive. We did a session a few weeks back that really got Red better controlled so we were able to bring in Jimi for a casual introduction. You'll see Red's initial reaction and how we were able to manage and modify his drives with some simple…
