If you’re attacked and unsure will your dog bite the attacker i say you go first and try to bite the person, the dog will follow most of the time 😂

really informative! i’ve been looking into reasons why things go wrong w protection dogs problems like impulse control and not having a bond w the dog but i think my dobie has a great temperament and he’s only 1yr 4m old. when i’m running w the flirt pole i’ll keep moving the pole and make him go to his place before giving his release command to get the pole again he struggled at first but things are progressing smooth. your video showed me there’s more to watch out for but i’m still very excited to start protection when quarantine is over!

So here’s the question….can you teach the dog to protect / bite …without a second person to act as the prey / bad guy

Don’t really hear ages. One is young one is mature. What does that mean? So can a family have a protection dog or there aren’t a lot dogs that can be a pet and protection? Isn’t that the point of protection? Trained to stop was my understanding.
