Recipe: Chicken and Beef Stew Surprise for Dogs
This is a very simple recipe. The prep work is the hardest part. If you want to use a different protein source, simply choose a protein your dog likes and cut into small, dime-sized pieces. This recipe usually takes about 10 minutes to prep.

- 1.5 Pound. lean ground beef
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 1.5 cups Dog-friendly vegetables
Place the chicken and beef in a large stockpot. Cover the meat with water and bring to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, remove the lid and let the recipe simmer for 30 minutes.
By this time, the protein should be thoroughly cooked. Shred the chicken and break the ground beef into small, bite-sized pieces.
Add the oatmeal and vegetables and simmer for another 5 minutes. When finished, stir the recipe until the ingredients are evenly combined.
